February Favourites

Hello lovely readers!

I thought I'd better share my February Favourites with you before we get any further in to March! I don't know where this year is going...time is just flying by at the moment and it will be Christmas again before we know it!

Here's what I've been loving last month...

L'Oreal Skin Perfection Micellar Solution

I love this stuff! I used to take off my eye make up with baby lotion but I've been using this micellar solution for a few weeks now and I'll never look back! Its so gentle on my skin, especially round my eyes and I don't have to rub and rub to remove my mascara (so all my eyelashes remain intact, yay!) I picked this up on offer in Boots so I'll look out for it when it's on offer again and stock up!

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge

I've tried different ways of applying my foundation.....sponges, foundation brushes and just using my fingers. I thought that my MAC foundation brush brush gave the best results.....until I used this little beauty!! I LOVE it!

As you can see, it's been well used already and, in fact, I've used it every day to apply my foundation and under eye concealer since I bought it last month. It gives the most amazing results...my skin looks flawless once I've applied my foundation with it!

I use the flat side to apply my foundation in a sort of dabbing/circular motion and the little pointed/bobbly end to apply my under eye concealer. It just seems to be the perfect shape and size to apply it all with and I really can't see me going back to a foundation brush now! It's so easy to wash through after each use and it dries over night and returns to its normal shape easily. If you've not tried one of these yet I would highly recommend it!

Nip+Fab Dry Leg Fix

I got this in my February 'Love Me Beauty' box as the mystery 'hero' product and I can see why it is a big favourite with their subscribers. I've been using this to moisturise my legs after showering. It's a lovely texture, not as thick as a normal moisturiser, kind of like a serum and it soaks in really quickly without leaving that horrible greasy/sticky feeling that some moisturisers can leave. My skin feels really soft for ages after I've used this and I can see me purchasing this from Boots once I've ran out.

MAC 217 Blending Brush

If there's one thing I've learnt from reading other beauty blogs it's that the MAC 217 is the king (or queen, not to be sexist!) of all blending brushes! I didn't want to feel left out so I picked one up a couple of weeks ago at the MAC counter in Selfridges whilst doing a bit of shopping in the Trafford Centre. I've only used it a couple of times but I love it so far! It's a lovely soft and fluffy brush and it blends so nicely without lifting too much colour. I've only recently learnt the importance of good quality make up brushes (makes such a difference!) so I consider this purchase to be a good investment!

What do you think of my February Favourites? Do you use any of these products?

    1. Hi Sarah, no I haven't used a Beauty Blender before but I've watched some YouTube reviews which say this is a really good dupe for it for a fraction of the price x
