Didi's Boutique | A Fashion Lover's Paradise

On trend fashion.......tick
Affordable prices.......tick
Great customer service and style advice.......tick
Super friendly owners and staff.......tick

These are all things that I look for when shopping in local fashion boutiques and Didi's Boutique has it all and more. Oh, and did I mention that it has its own specially built catwalk?!

I first discovered Didi's at Manchester Fashion Week back in April this year. They were the stand out brand of the night for me with a carefully selected collection of wearable fashion ranging from casual daytime looks to all-out elegance in evening wear (you can see the catwalk photographs in my post here ). Fast forward a couple of months and because of my new job in Altrincham town centre I'm now only a five minute walk away from their showroom on my lunch breaks (hurrah!)

Hidden above a music shop on Ashley Road in Altrincham, Didi's Boutique is the fashion equivalent of an Aladdin's cave - clothes, shoes, bags, scarves...literally everything you need to create that perfect look. The lovely owners Anna and Lucy are always there to greet you with a very warm welcome and offer you help and style advice if you need it. The first time I went to Didi's it felt like walking into a huge walk-in wardrobe where everything is hung and placed just right. It doesn't have that stark and clinical feel that some exclusive boutiques have where you feel that you can't even look at the clothes properly, let alone try them on. It's a girly paradise with on-trend outfits displayed on mannequins and a big catwalk right in the middle of the showroom where items are modelled at Didi's party nights throughout the year. Customers can go along to the showroom with friends and take along a bottle of wine (or two!) and relax whilst watching the latest fashions on the catwalk. I've not managed to attend one of these nights yet but I need to get to one soon as they sound like so much fun!

If you don't live near the showroom, however, you can still have your own Didi's party at home - contact Anna or Lucy to see if there's a 'Didi's Personal Stylist' in your area and you can host a party in your own home where you can see a selection of clothing and accessories available to purchase and be offered advice on how to put outfits together. The host can also receive a discount off their own purchases if the whole party spends over £250.

I really like discovering independent boutiques as they offer a more personal shopping experience than high street chain stores and I always find something that little bit different and unique. I'll certainly be popping in to Didi's a lot more now I work so close to the showroom, so keep an eye out for my Didi's purchases in the future!

If you don't live in the Manchester/Cheshire area you can shop online here

  3. It looks like there's a very nice array of colours and prints amongst the blouses and frocks in your would-be wardrobe. Like the previous commenters I love the polka-dot dress and the gorgeous skirts displayed on the mannequins. Didi's Boutique looks like a lovely place to shop.
